Denture Repairs

Relining is a mandatory procedure for all denture wearers which is recommended every 18-24 month intervals.
It is the process where the denture whether full, partial or implant retained is refitted to the mouth with a new layer of acrylic. This restores the fit and improves the bite, as the oral mucosa constantly shrinks and changes over time. The oral mucosa is very sensitive to change. These changes can be due to common factors such as:
Significant weight loss or gain
Loss of tooth/teeth
Chronic illness or disease

We can replace the fitting surface of your denture with a comfort liner. This material provides a soft fitting surface which relieves any discomfort some denture wearers may experience with conventional hard acrylic.

We can also clean and polish your existing dentures and seal them with a specialised agent to maintain their appearance and hygiene. The denture sealer can also be added to your new dentures at your request.
Tissue Conditioning
Tissue Conditioning is a temporary lining with a conditioning material to improve the health of the gums supporting the denture.
Clean and Polish
Clean and polish pre-existing dentures. Using the latest ultrasonic cleaning equipment to remove excess tartar and build up. Re-polish dentures with professional equipment back to their original shine. This is recommended to be done once every year.
